I know this has little to do with sports, but I do love commenting on people's stupidity. Case in point...
From the LA Times, it seems that many people who have used the service Cash4Gold are very upset. It seems that they are getting shortchanged when sending in their unwanted gold jewelry. Many sent in what they thought amounted to hundreds of dollars worth of unwanted merchandise and received a minimal return. Many unsastified customers have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau but seem to be getting nowhere.
Let's get this straight...who in their right freaking mind believes that you can send in your valuables in a Ziploc bag to a company who started out as a late night infomercial on the Lifetime network and expect to get what you deserve for it? I know we're in a major economic crisis and people are panicking, but come on people. How could you be that stupid? Just because they had a commercial on the Super Bowl doesn't mean it's a reputable way to get money. How do you think they afforded a pricey Super Bowl ad...because they've ripped off thousands of suckers! And anytime Ed McMahon and MC Hammer are spokesmen for something that earnes you money, think twice.
The only time you should listen to senile old men is when the ask you to pull the plug.
It's the American Dream...the get-rich-quick scheme in full effect. And thousands of people who were already hurting are hurting even more. Hopefully Mr. T didn't trade in his unwanted gold jewelry or the guys at Cash4Gold are gonna be hurting.
I pity the fool who rips off this guy.
How much do you think Medium Ben would get for his two Super Bowl rings? 35 cents?
If anyone wants to give me any unwanted gold i'll take it as well. no payment will be given though times are tough. Elite_Tom what does this have to do with sports????
