Wow what a great game!!! Thank God i didnt turn the game off after i was done throwing up from the first two disgusting periods. Ryan Whitney was shit again as was most of the Penguin team, except for one man among boys one Evgeni Malkin. This guy is the most complete player in the NHL right now. Malkin is not afraid to hit people, can score at any time from any place on the ice, and just makes shit happen in general. Crosby is the face of the franchise no doubt, but he is not the game changer Malkin is. The next person who says "we should trade Malkin" im punching in the fucking mouth. Big props to Matt Cooke tonight for baiting in the stupid cock Gary Roberts, what an idiot to put his team at a disadvantage at a critical point in the game. Also what the fuck was Ryan Malone trying to prove buy cheap shotting every Penguin that came near him? You wanted to leave bud, dont blame management, you asked to be traded or left to test free agency and they obliged. Mark Recchi can eat a big cock sandwich also what douche that guy is. Malkin is dominant but he's no better than Ovechkin, like him or not..yes he shoots everytime he gets the puck but if the Pens did that...well they wouldn't be fighting for a playoff spot right now. The last 7 minutes of that game were the hardest I've seen in awhile it was amazing. Actually say what you want about Ovech but 324 SOG and he still has 31 assists but i guess rebounds factor in.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have Ovechkin on my team. Im not knocking him for shooting, i think that is what crosby and or malkin need to do more of. There are no points awarded for pretty passing or running the gauntlet...actually getting pretty tired of no one shooting the puck on PP either. I guess i shouldnt say noone because Malkin and Sykora definetly are willing to do it but Crosby, i just dont know what his deal is right now.

ReplyDeleteas far as complete hockey players go, malkin would have to be #1. ovechkin is the most gifted scorer, but malkin can shoot, pass (he leads the league in assists) and anyone who watches the pens on a regular basis can attribute to his amazing backchecking ability. ovechkin has the tendency to dangle, and often takes himself out of position to make those huge hits everyone drools over. sid is a freak, probably the best athlete in the league, his balance and skating ability is second to none. he is by far and away the best passer in the league, and it's a shame that people knock the guy even though he's second in the league in scoring and still ahead of ovechkin. he has shown the ability to take games over, but doesn't do it as often as his team needs. he needs that killer instinct that most superstars have.
